it's about the little things......

My mom showed up the other night with 2 boxes of my favorite Girl Scout cookies.She was ordering from a friend and thought to order some for me :) That just made my day ! As my blog header says,it's about the little things and moments in life.It's about calling that friend early in the morning (which I did today) and asking for a favor knowing she would do it.It's being able to do the same for her (which I have). It's about sending my aunt a card the other day just because. It's about being excited for my friend who is at this very moment on her way to a much needed vacation in Florida.
I am so grateful that lately I've been able to take the moments in life and appreciate them.Life has slowed down for me lately and I'm so thankful for that. I'm not even 30 yet but I've realized "life is what happens while you're waiting for life". So,I hope you aren't just going through the motions of life.Do something,even just a quick little something,to make today unique and special. Also,pray for a state of mind that allows you to see the opportunities and not let life pass you by !!!!
